A turtle about 25 cm long, hand-crocheted in cotton yarn: a lilac body, a purple shell with a yellow top and safety eyes. It is stuffed to be soft yet hold its shape, and it stands on its four legs.
It is the soft toy that stays with a child from the first year: it goes to bed, to the grandparents’ house and into the car. The colours catch the eye without being loud, and the cotton feels lovely to the touch.
