Orders and lead times

Why isn’t there a shopping cart?
Because we don’t hold stock: every piece is made when you order it, and almost all of them are personalised. A quote first avoids misunderstandings about price, lead time and shipping.
How long does an order take?
Between one and eight weeks, depending on the piece. Approximate lead times by product family are on the “How it works” page. We give you the exact time before you confirm.
Is there a minimum order?
No. A single piece is an order. For wedding favours or events (keyrings, brooches, ring holders) we offer quantity pricing.
Can I order something that isn’t on the website?
Yes, if it’s crochet, wood, paper or felt. Tell us about it in as much detail as possible (dimensions, colours, a reference photo) from the contact page.

Personalisation

What can be personalised?
Colours on almost everything; names and dates on boxes, wall art, notebooks, signs and ring holders; photos on albums and wall art; and amigurumi made from a photo of your pet or a character.
Can you make an amigurumi of my dog or cat?
Yes. Send us two or three photos (front, side and full body) and we’ll tell you the size, price and lead time. It’s one of our most frequent commissions.
Can I see the piece before you ship it?
For highly personalised pieces we send you a photo before finishing it, so you can confirm.

Shipping and payment

Where do you ship to?
Across Europe, with tracking. The cost depends on the destination and parcel size, and is included in the quote.
How do I pay?
We send you the options in the confirmation email. Nothing is charged until you accept the quote.
Can I return a piece?
Non-personalised pieces, yes, within 14 days and in their original condition. Personalised pieces, no, unless there is a manufacturing defect, in which case we remake or refund.
Can you send it straight to the person I’m giving it to?
Yes. Without the price, and with a handwritten card if you tell us the message.

Materials and care

What are the amigurumi made of?
100% cotton yarn and fibre stuffing. The eyes are embroidered or safety eyes depending on the age of the person it’s for; let us know if it’s for a baby.
How do I wash crochet pieces?
By hand, in lukewarm water with mild soap, without wringing. Dry flat, out of direct sun.
Is the wood treated?
Yes, sanded and finished with water-based paint or varnish. Clean with a dry cloth.
